Binggrae's fruit-flavored ice cream bar, Melona, made its debut in South Korea in 1992.

With Melona's unique texture and refreshing fruit flavors bringing something new to the table,

it set the record for best-selling product in the domestic ice-cream market by selling more than 280 million bars in 1994. Even now, it continues to be the best-selling product in South Korea.

In 1995, Melona made its way into the United States after gaining popularity in Hawaii.

With more and more stores carrying Melona bars, we finally opened up a branch in the United States in 2017. Often described as gelato on a stick, MELONA is a low calorie ice cream bar, famous for its unique texture and fresh fruit taste. Our signature honeydew melon, strawberry, banana, mango, and coconut flavored bars are proudly produced in Washington with quality ingredients.
